right, as some of you know, all the details and booking orders for the Atmosphere09 event on 24th- 26th April are now up and running,

u can book your tickets by following the easy instructions on thier website
http://www.atmosphere09.co.uk/

i have just booked my ticket and i have reserved a 6-8 berth caravan for us, so i need to know who is coming, if we have more than 8 then another caravan will have to be booked, so i need to know numbers who want to stay in our 'bournemouthboarding' caravan.

other than that, it is pretty much up to u to book your ticket and make sure u have insurance or u wont be allowed in, but i know most of u already do, but hurry up, cos tickets are going fast!!

as regards the caravan, i have booked and will be paying for it, but when the time comes, i would be grateful if those staying with us, could pitch in to even out the costs fairly, i have also ordered a caravan with no pets as its cheaper, plus it wont be ideal for dogs on the beach with so many kites about, i will post up a map of the beach and campsite shortly.

it was a superb event last year and i'm sure it will be even better this year!

if you have any questions or advice u want answered, or u want to reserve a place in the caravan, either post below, or phone me on 07810228456

thanks, steve

we'll only add you to the list with a confirmation you have booked your ticket with you ticket recepit number im afraid. Too may people say they'll come then never book tickets filling up spaces which go to waste

Unfortunatly to kite there, you NEED insurance. You can get it from here;

http://www.britishkitesurfingassociatio ... /erol.html

to join and support BB also change 'indervidual insurance' to 'bournemouth boarding'

the caravan has been finalised and paid for by me today, which covers us for the friday and saterday night for the event,

The cost for me came to £80 for the 2 nights,

so when we know the final numbers and names who are staying with us, i would be very grateful if you could pitch in with the cost to even it out

but we can arrange that when we get there,

the caravan type is a 6-8 berth 'Albatross' and in the closest park to the beach itself,

http://www.surfbayholidays.co.uk/surfbay.asp

looking forward to it

Hi guys,

I am definetelly in, I haven't booked my ticket yet, but for sure I will do that till the end of comming week cause don't have money yet. And I'm requesting a space in ur caravan, so I will let u no extacly when I booked my ticket.

About insurance, I made in Poland, it's called EURO26 and it's included extreme sports too within all EU countries. But I don't have here with me any papers, just the student card, they gave to me, this is my confirmation of my inurance, is that all right?

Peace :)

Q. You say we need insurance but what kind?

A. We need all fliers to have 3rd party liability insurance to cover for £5millon so as to keep within local rules. We do not specify who's insurance or what insurance - that is entirely down to you. Examples of insurance are the ones that many kite clubs offer such as SWATK, CLSC, and others and also BKSA, BPKA, Sportscoverdirect. I have even heard of some household policies giving this level of cover. We don't care what as long as covered and can sign to confirm it. You also have to wear helmets - no excuses some didn't last year but its an instant ban this year as we have to follow the rules

I had me one of those and they were great - unless you do have a bad accident, and the peak digs in the breaks the back of your neck - then your a bit screwed and realise you should have gone for something else!

If you don't want to risk it the 661 Skate Helmet is pretty good value for money too....

ye u deffo need one ryan, mine is just a standard skate lid, and its fine, and its PINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, lol, wtf

anyway, i'm not sure if that helmet ban includes people only static flying or not, last year the beach was divided in two i think, with all static fliers at one end, and boarders/buggies at the other, but worth checking,
